Lunch & Learn | "Being the Best Caregiver"

Join us for a FREE Lunch & Learn Workshop presented by former Wisconsin Governor Martin Schreiber!
Marty Schreiber is a dedicated advocate for Alzheimer’s caregivers and individuals with dementia. Sharing his experiences nationwide, Marty brings humor and compassion to his talks, drawing from his journey as a caregiver for his late wife, Elaine, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2007.
Every participant will receive a FREE copy of Marty’s book, “My Two Elaines.” Light lunch will be provided.

Stepping On | Falls Prevention Workshop
This program meets at our Sun Prairie YMCA
Stay Strong. Stay Independent. Stay Steady with Stepping On!
Stepping On is a 7-week falls prevention workshop that helps seniors stay steady and independent. Studies show it can reduce falls by 31%!
In this educational workshop, participants will learn how to spot and avoid fall hazards, factors that can contribute to fall risks, easy at-home exercises to build strength and improve balance, and more.
This weekly workshop takes place Tuesdays from 1:30-3:30 p.m. from June 23rd through August 4th at the Sun Prairie YMCA (1470 Don Simon Drive, Sun Prairie, WI 53590).
Participants must complete a pre-workshop survey and confirm eligibility requirements prior to the start of the course.
