This program meets at our West YMCA

Check out our walking/social club for ages 55 and up at the West YMCA. This is a great opportunity to energize your body and mind with something fit and fun! Bring your friends or join us as a way to meet new people.

We’ll start out walking about a half mile and progressing to up to two-and-a-half miles depending on our pace as a group. We’ll utilize the bike path near the West Y and may choose off-site routes at the club’s discretion. After our walks, we’ll take time to enjoy conversation, coffee, snacks and social activities. All participants get a club t-shirt. Stay tuned for more details and registration info coming soon!

Club meets on Thursdays at 8:00 a.m. from May 21st through June 25th.

Join us for a FREE Lunch & Learn Workshop presented by former Wisconsin Governor Martin Schreiber!

Marty Schreiber is a dedicated advocate for Alzheimer’s caregivers and individuals with dementia. Sharing his experiences nationwide, Marty brings humor and compassion to his talks, drawing from his journey as a caregiver for his late wife, Elaine, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2007.

Every participant will receive a FREE copy of Marty’s book, “My Two Elaines.” Light lunch will be provided.
