Volleyball
Bump, set, spike! From beginners to future stars, YMCA youth volleyball is here to help boys and girls build and develop foundational skills, gain a better understanding of competitive volleyball, focus on being a great teammate and join a larger volleyball community … all without the high cost of club teams. Do volleyball the Y way!
Volleyball Leagues
Our leagues for boys and girls in grades 4-8 are not only a great starting points for beginners, they’re also built to accommodate players with some volleyball experience looking to further develop their fundamentals and love of the game. We’ll focus on learning the basics in a comfortable, low-stress environment; it’s a great way to play with your friends (and make new ones)! Coed teams will be created from a combination of geography (school attendance areas), parent/player requests and free agents.
Our program consists of one practice per week, days decided on by the volunteer coaches.. Games will be played on Sundays (first two weeks will be practice-only). Rosters and schedules will be sent one week prior to the start of the season.
League games will be played against East and West YMCA teams. Game sites:
Sun Prairie: Meadow View Elementary
East: East YMCA
West: West YMCA
