Track & Field
YMCA Track & Field programs provide opportunities for youth in grades 1-8 to be part of a team while learning basic skills. Athletes will develop fundamental skills in a variety of track and field events through practice and meet participation. Coaches will guide aspiring Olympians to discover their potential and grow their love of track and field.
Bolts Summer Track Club
The Bolts Track Club is committed to providing a quality learning and training experience in track and field, preparing athletes for competition. Our club emphasizes individual improvement to build confidence while growing a passion for the sport.
Events include: running, long jump, high jump, triple jump, hurdles, shot put and discus.
The program runs June 7-July 26, and practices are scheduled for Sundays, 6:00-7:30 pm at Sun Prairie East HS. All participants will receive a final schedule via email.
Meets are held in partnership with the Wisconsin Track Club and have an additional fee. The tentative meet dates are June 25, July 9, July 16 and July 25. Meet participation is not required to be a part of the team.
All participants will receive a track-style jersey.

Spring Track & Field
This program helps support the Sun Prairie and Marshall High School Track & Field programs, and our athletes learn the fundamentals in various events, focus on skill development and compete in three meets. A team t-shirt is included.
Practices start the week of April 13
- Sun Prairie practice: Mondays, 6:00-7:15 pm @ Central Heights MS
- Marshall practice: Wednesdays, 6:00-7:15 pm @ Marshall HS
