Our summer rec leagues focus on skill development, teamwork and most of all, fun! The program stresses basic basketball fundamentals in a non-competitive environment. Teams are comprised of no more than 12 players, and team t-shirts are provided.

The season consists of two weeks of practice followed by four weeks of game play. Game times vary from week to week. Schedules and rosters will be sent via email one week prior to the start of the program. Team or coach requests are not guaranteed for late registrations.

*Depending on enrollment, leagues may be combined with East, West, and Sun Prairie branches. Some travel may be required.

Our Girls Summer Basketball Camp for 4-8th graders will be hosted by the Madison West High School Varsity Girls Basketball Program and coaches. This summer camp will stress the fundamentals of basketball skills and game-play to help develop and prepare participants for the 2023 basketball season.

The camp will run on Monday evenings from July 10th – August 7th at the West YMCA. 4-6th graders will go from 5-6:30pm and 7-8th grades from 6:30-8:00pm each time.

Please register your daughter for the grade that they will be entering in the fall of 2023. Registration will close on Friday, July 7th.

Ages 5-6 play on 8-foot hoops; 7-9 year-olds use 9-foot hoops; and ages 10-12 play on 10-foot hoops.
